A Justiça converteu em preventiva a prisão em flagrante da motorista que provocou o acidente que matou um motociclista de 59 anos em Pederneiras no último domingo (14). .

Imagens de circuito de segurança registraram o acidente no cruzamento da Avenida Dom Silva Mário Dário com a Rua Capitão Joaquim Barreto. (Veja no vídeo acima).
Nas imagens, é possível ver o momento em que o motociclista, Gregório Angelo Gimenez, é atingido e arrastado pelo carro em alta velocidade.
Após atingir a vítima, o carro ainda seguiu na via e atropelou um casal que estava em uma motocicleta, trafegando no sentido contrário da avenida. Eles sofreram ferimentos leves. Segundo a PM, a motorista apresentava sinais de embriaguez e latas de cerveja vazias foram encontradas no veículo.

Após análise das imagens e do caso, o Ministério Público pediu à Justiça a conversão da prisão em flagrante para preventiva.

O MP também sinalizou para mudança da tipificação do crime de homicídio culposo para doloso, porém, isso deve ocorrer apenas após a conclusão do inquérito, que segue sendo investigado como crime de lesão corporal e homicídio culposo na direção de veículo automotor sob influência de álcool.
A motorista, que não teve a identidade divulgada, sofreu uma fratura e teve escoriações pelo corpo. Ela foi encaminhada para a Santa Casa da cidade, onde passou por cirurgia e permanece internada.
Ela deve passar por audiência de custódia após a alta e depois encaminhada para alguma unidade prisional da região.
